Read Chapter 7
Turn in your MLA formatted symbolism paragraph if you don't want a zero. If you have a zero and don't know why, you should probably email me about that on School Loop. You can even use Remind to message me if that works better for you
TUR Vocab Practice due Wednesday 9/23 at the beginning of class. It will not be accepted late.

Gradebook Explained

My grade book is on School Loop for you to view. There are some things you need to know that will hopefully clarify some things.

I = Incomplete, and may not be made up. An I is worth 30% of the total points available for an assignment. This is a department criteria and policy.

M = Missing, and should be made up or turned in for at least partial credit. The assignment is worth a zero until the work is completed.

Ab = Absent, and should be made up or turned in in a timely manner. The assignment is worth a zero until the work is completed.

Blank scores mean I have not graded it yet.

Zeroes occur when students do not turn in assignments that they are expected to submit. Regardless of when it is due, students are expected to complete the assignment.

Sometimes a score given on a minor assignment is not ideal. For students willing to put in the work, they are welcome to talk with me about redoing certain assignments.
