Symbolism!

Homework:

• Fill in your note-taking guide so you have useful information about symbols for tomorrow. The more detailed it is, the easier tomorrow will be. Your two key questions are:
• What do the glasses symbolize in the novel?
• What does the conch symbolize in the novel?
• Create a calendar for yourself for book love so you know when you need to have your book done by.
• you should be AT LEAST halfway done with a Book Love selection by September 23
• You will be expected to write ONE book review, due on October 12. (You will not have to answer questions in addition to that.)
• You will write four Literacy Letters to me (in class) between now and October 12, explaining where you are in your book and what has happened so far, and
